Mark Dean was a computer scientist who helped innovate the IBM "bus", a revolutionary device that allowed components to be attached to a computer without the need for a new model. He was also credited with creating the world's first gigahertz microchip, which was an incredible achievement for his time. After graduating Stanford with a PhD in electrical engineering, Mark Dean was employed at IBM. While working there, he accomplished the many technological advancements that made him a CS Superhero.

Gladys West was "human computer" who did work with the U.S. Navy in the 1970's. During her work with the Navy, proved that "human computers" could still be successful despite rapid technological developments by performing complex mathematics by hand. Most importantly, however, she is largely credited with the development of the GPS, an advancement that has impacted billions around the globe. Gladys West graduated her college of Virginia State University as a valedictorian, and received awards for her studies there as well. Overall, her contributions to the improvement of modern technology demonstrate her acomplishments.

Vinton Cerf was one of the founders of the Internet, as he helped create TCP/IP protocols. These protocols served as the foundation of the Internet, and they helped transfer information between devices. Cerf received a PhD in computer science from the University of California, and he received many awards for his work on the Internet.
